Description:
The Cohasset Fire Department is committed to providing for the safety and welfare of the public through preservation of life, property, and the environment.

The Cohasset Fire Department provides Fire Prevention and Suppression, Emergency Medical Service, Rescue Services, Hazardous Materials Mitigation, Disaster Management, Public Education as well as other services to the community.
These services are provided 24 hours a day, seven days per week.
The Emergency Medical Service is staffed by firefighters who are certified at the EMT and EMT/Paramedic level by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Department ambulance operates at the Advanced Life Support (ALS) level providing advanced medical and cardiac care.
